Later, as an adult living in Boa Vista, she started to reminisce about the culture of her people, the Macuxi Indigenous<br \/>\npeople, and record it in her paintings.<\/p>\n<p>She started to paint and exhibit her pieces in 1992. Since 2006, when she participated for the first time in the <em>Bienal Na\u00eff<\/em>\u00a0of Sesc Piracicaba, S\u00e3o Paulo, she has been selected to show work in all of its all editions and received awards for some of them. The artist has held painting workshops at Museu de Arte de S\u00e3o Paulo (MASP) and Sesc Pompeia, S\u00e3o Paulo.
