She graduated from Museo Nacional de Etnograf\u00eda y Folklore in La Paz. She is a lecturer in <em>Aymara <\/em>and <em>Quechua<\/em>, Elvira has published several books, including the book of poems <em>Phaqar Kirki-T\u2019ikha Takiy Takiy \u2013 Canto a las Flores<\/em> (2006), for which she received the international poet award in the fourth Venezuela World Poetry Festival in 2007.<\/p>\n<p>In collaboration with the Bolivian musician Alvaro Montenegro, she produced the contemporary music DVDs <em>Thakhi \u2013 La Senda Canciones a los animales<\/em> (2007) and <em>Utachk Kirki \u2013 Canto a las <\/em><em>Casas<\/em> (2011).
